Plagiarism

Plagiarism of text from a previously published manuscript by the same or another author is a serious publication offense. Small amounts of text may be used, but only where the source of the material quoted is clearly acknowledged. Fraudulent data or data stolen from other authors is also unethical and will be treated accordingly. Any alleged offense is considered initially by the Editorial Team. In addition to informing authors and institutions, the editors follow the COPE guidelines for plagiarism. The journal is warranted in keeping the highest level of honesty in the context published.

Fabrication/ Falsification:  If the reviewers of the article doubt the existence of data and methods, etc. of the research under review, the author is asked to provide raw data of the study, if necessary, for further research. IJDO journal seeks and acts in accordance with COPE guidelines if it encounters such issues.

Retraction Policy: The IJDO for retraction of a published article uses the COPE flowchart (http://publicationethics.org/resources/guidelines)
International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, ICMJE (http://www.icmje.org/). The journal uses iThenticate plagiarism detection software to evaluate the originality of each manuscript. The journal reserves the right to report the allegations to the author’s institution or any other agenc.
